Hello all! I'm so so so sorry I've been on hiatus unannounced! It's been a couple of crazy weeks around the Watson residence.
I came down with a really nasty respiratory infection three weeks ago. It was flu-like in its symptoms and had quite a life of its own for about ten days. I was totally out of commission from everything, not just blogging.
Then as I was just getting better we got ourselves packed and on my birthday we headed up to McCall, Idaho for winter camp with our teens. It was exhausting and a lot of fun. It was good to get away for a little while, but I felt like I needed a weekend from my weekend!
Now I'm back on my game, mostly...
Yesterday was a full day. Brent and I painted Henry's room. It looks great! Three of the walls are done in a dark-off-white sand color, and one wall is blue. Next weekend (in between the baby shower and home group...) I am planning on going to Craft Warehouse and getting the paints for a tree mural on one wall. Looking forward to getting that done!
Then, we got dressed up (here read: I showered, put on makeup and Brent wore a collared shirt- spiffy!) and went to the Morrison Center. There we saw Ballet Idaho perform "The Carnival of the Animals". I haven't been to a ballet since middle school days and Brent had never been. It was so much fun! By the time it was over we were pretty hungry, so we went out to Pizza Hut. We haven't been to Pizza Hut in so long that we reminisced about the free "Book It!" personal pan pizzas we used to get as kids and filled in both of the kids sheets... everything from the mazes to the crossword puzzles to answering the questions "What would you do if you had a million dollars?" and "Which wild animal would you choose for a pet and why?" It was so much fun. We were there way too late.
As a result I was up much of the night with indigestion. There's a surprise...
But I hear it is good training for the very near future...
Again, sorry it's been so long. Don't give up on me!

Oh, I am so glad you are alive but I am sorry about the indigestion. We get what we call "pizza stomach." It is a pregnant lady or old people condition!
