Henry and his race car

Henry loves this little car. It looks like cookie monster. And these photos capture the trifecta: a favorite toy, a beautiful summer day, and the garage... where even a little man feels at home.
I would never have imagined how much he would find in there to investigate! But he's a very enthusistic detective.

He is such a joy! He is thrilled with summer, the pool in the front yard, and with the dogs in the back yard. His favorite phrase right now is "'at's'at?" which can be translated what's that most of the time; sometimes it just means look!

He likes dancing to Itsy Bitsy Spider on his "Cock-a-Doodle-Doodle-Blue" Do-Re-Me & You CD that Nana gave him from her Kindermusic stash. It is his all time favorite right now.
And he loves reading his books. Recent favorites include "Happy Baby Words," a chunky board book with lots of photos of baby's, any book with flaps that he can open and close with the comment "at's'at?" and of course, Sandra Boynton's "Barnyard Dance." We love to read! And we love to play with this Mr Man. He is a riot!
